Eat. Speak. Repeat. Allied Health is proud of the connection with have with our community. Below you will find past events we have held for our community. For future events, please see our Facebook page.
The Learning Loft
At Eat. Speak. Repeat. we understand that accessing allied health services can be tricky, especially now with the current housing and financial issues burdening our community.
We know that families are wanting these services to better the health outcomes of themselves, their children, extended family, and/or friends, so we have brought to life The Learning Loft to support our wonderful community.
The Learning Loft is a completely free service provided by Eat. Speak. Repeat. that is welcoming of everyone in the Hunter Region/Worimi community.
Each school term, 1-2 educational seminars are offered on a range of topics. This year, our topics will likely cover the following;
- Autism
- Key Word Sign
- Picky Eating
- Feeding Development
- Emotional Regulation
- Late Talkers
- Communication Development
- Literacy – reading, writing, and spelling skills
Seminars run for 60minutes on a given Tuesday during the school term. Attendees have the opportunity to ask questions of our qualified speech pathologists following the presentation.

Holiday Programs
At Eat. Speak. Repeat. we pride ourselves on offering inclusive programs that can be accessed by all people! We have truly embedded this into the programs we offer during school holidays.
Our holiday programs support not only the children who attend, but also the parents and caregivers. We create a space for children to make new and meaningful relationships whilst also giving the space for parents and caregivers to meet and share their experiences with one another.
We are blessed to continually have student Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists from Newcastle University attend each of our holiday programs. This allows them to learn from real-life experience with children and helps us to ensure that we have a ratio of 1 therapist/student per 2 children each program.
The programs we will be offering for 2023 include;
- Sensory Oasis – a morning of sensory fun for our sensory seekers
- Coo-ee Cooking – a great opportunity for our picky eaters to interact with new food, learn about First Nations culture through food, and to develop life skills
- The Science Lab – for all the little scientists in your life who love to learn about science and cause and effect
- Fine Motor Meeting Place – work on fine motor skills whilst learning about First Nations culture through art and craft
Our holiday programs run for 2 hours each on Tuesday mornings, except for the Christmas holidays.

PORT STEPHENS NDIS Community
Following the success of our NDIS presentation, Driving Miss Daisy Nelson Bay and Eat. Speak. Repeat. Allied Health decided our community needed a space to come together to discuss the NDIS and meet other families in similar situations. From this, the Port Stephens NDIS Community Facebook page was created.
This is a place for connection and discussion regarding the NDIS. We do not allow marketing or advertising on this page. To read more about how this Facebook page came about, click on the button below to take you to a story written by News of the Area. To join the group, click on the Facebook page below.

Eat. Speak. Repeat. Allied Health was brought to life to meet the growing demand for allied health services in the Hunter Region.
